Metal braces have been the solution for straightening teeth for a long time. While they are effective, they can also be painful, inconvenient, and not aesthetically pleasing.

With SureSmile®, you can still get the results that traditional braces offer without the hassle that comes with it.

How Does SureSmile® Straighten Your Teeth?

SureSmile® clear aligners are custom-made and removable orthodontic devices. They apply a gentle pressure to your teeth when you wear them, slowly guiding them to their proper position.

To ensure timely results, you should be wearing them for between 20 to 22 hours a day. The only time you need to remove them is when you’re cleaning your teeth or eating.

Is SureSmile® the Right Choice for You?

SureSmile® is an excellent choice for a discreet orthodontic treatment, but it’s not ideal for everybody. Our dentists are more than happy to evaluate your teeth and determine if it’s the right choice for you. Generally, the following individuals make good candidates for a SureSmile® treatment:

  • Has mild to moderate tooth misalignment
  • Practices good oral hygiene
  • Patients without bruxism
  • Patients free of cavities or gum disease

Other Things You Should Know

Properly caring for your clear aligners is crucial for a successful treatment. You should be using the cleaning products it comes with to prevent damage or discoloration. You also want to wash your teeth and mouth before putting them back in.

Another important thing you should have during your SureSmile® treatment is patience. The process takes time, and you must be committed to keeping your aligners in for most of the day. It’ll be worth it once you finally achieve a straighter smile!
