About Dr. Boozer
I was born and raised in Sacramento, California. My wife, Beth, and I moved to Rescue in 1997 because we wanted to belong to a small community to raise our boys. Brendan is now 24 and an engineer living in Redding, and Mason is 22 in college at Chico State studying engineering. We are very proud of both of them and feel very blessed that we are a close family. I have fun working on my 1974 Bronco project and look forward to going on drives when it’s done. I love going to Cars and Coffee with Beth and Guinness, our goofy Doberman, and we love it when the boys are able to come down and go with us. I enjoy camping, going out on the ski boat that Beth and I met on in 1994, and exploring the outdoors. I love our date nights on Thursdays and supporting local restaurants. Community is important to us so we donate to local sports teams and the Chico State Water Ski team because Mason is a member of the team.
I graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1991, and before that I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I really love doing dentistry! From fillings to implants, it’s important to me meet my patients’ needs. I love being able to make a patient feel comfortable with their dental care, and the reaction I get when a patient loves their new smile makes me feel really good. We have an amazing staff, and I love laughing with them and having fun at work.
Thank you for your interest in our office, and I hope I get to meet you soon! Feel free to stop in and see the office and have a chocolate chip cookie!

Our Office Staff

Jeri – Treatment Coordinator
I have worked in the dental field since 1985 starting as an RDA assisting the doctor. I then became a stay-at-home mom in 1995. I went back into the dental field in 2000 and moved into the Office Manager position. My joy in life is being a GRA-GRA to my grand-babies, spending time with my husband, being outside on my bike, and swimming with my dog, Nike!
I believe that I have found my work family at Forest Ridge Dental practice. It’s such a fun practice but yet professional.

Summer – Patient Coordinator
I have worked in the dental field since 2009. I started as a dental assistant but took a few years off in 2014 to be a stay-at-home mom. When my daughter was old enough to go to school, I came back to dental but started in the front office position. I love greeting our wonderful patients with a smile and sending them home after their visit with a cookie! It’s fun being a part of our staff family and laughing with my co-workers!
My free time is spent with my little one, my 2 kitty cats, and my friends and family.

Nikki, RDH, Registered Dental Hygienist – License #30296
Hi, I’m Nikki! I graduated from Carrington College, Sacramento’s Dental Hygiene program, in 2016 and started practicing later that year. I knew I wanted to become a Dental Hygienist when I realized that I wanted to work in the medical field, but also wanted to create lasting relationships with my patients. I also wanted to help people with their oral care and prevent dental disease, since I was always plagued with cavities as a child. I know what it’s like to be the patient! I love working as a Hygienist, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with such an awesome community here at Forest Ridge Dental.
When I’m not practicing hygiene, I love to dance, and I love spending time with my two Beagles, Rosie and Daisy. We like to go hiking, kayaking, camping, and we love to visit with our friends and family!

Amanda – Registered Dental Assistant Extended Functions II – License #36515
I’ve been in Dentistry since 2015. I have recently achieved an extended function license that allows me to further continue my passion for dentistry. Forest Ridge Dental has given me the opportunity to practice in my hometown, where I can develop amazing relationships with patients. I love being a part of the amazing Forest Ridge team!
I am an avid snowboarder, back packer, and hiker. My dogs Chubby and Milo, and my partner James, join me on all my adventures!

G.G. Ramos – Registered Dental Assistant – License #94501
I started working for Forest Ridge Dental very recently, and I remember when interviewing, I instantly knew this was the right office for me! Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere was so positive! I can’t forget the delicious smell of cookies. I’ve worked for many dental offices in my five years of experience as adental assistant, and I’m so proud to say I have found my dental home!
In my free time, I enjoy country concerts, spending time outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, boating, and paddle boarding. Being outside with nature brings me much joy!

Beth Boozer – Marketing Coordinator
It has been such a pleasure and honor to serve our community since 1996. Forrest’s and my goal is to bring the feeling of community into the office by making our patients feel special, like they’re a member of our extended family, with lots of smiling faces to greet them. I love meeting our new patients or catching up with patients who have been with us for a long time. Prior to working in our dental office managing the marketing, I was a speech pathologist for a local school district as well as the owner of my own speech pathology private practice. One of the things I miss the most about being a speech therapist is the opportunity to do nice things for people and to make a difference. So I love spoiling our patients by serving homemade chocolate chip cookies, freshly baked every day in the office. We have so much fun laughing with our staff at work! They are truly a part of our family.
I love spending time together as a family with our two grown sons going to Cars and Coffee on Saturday mornings. Our dobie, Guinness, likes to come, too!. I also love going to concerts as a family, water and snow skiing, traveling and reading. A lot of my time at home is spent in my kitchen cooking and baking. If I haven’t had the opportunity to meet you yet, please say hi if you visit our practice.
